Hi guys,
I must admint it's been very difficult to work out while on vacation here in Thailand. As you may know, we've been in the new lately.

My martial arts trainer, Jin of China Boxer fame, sent me this link to a great tool for getting to those Six Pack Abs. I don't have the tools he's showing but it looks intense, and yes, Jin has those abs. Check out the email he sent. Click the "Suspension Abs" link at the bottom to see the video.

If you can make it to the Westside, we're going blading this coming Monday morning (5/24) at the beach bike path.
If you care to join us, respond to this post and we'll send you the meeting place and time.
Don't forget your gear. Helmets, and wrist pads are optional but recommended. Some people are actually running while the rest of us will blade. Participant's choice.

OK gang! Adar and I are trying to find a fair way to count double workouts. Here is what we propose:
1. If you do 2 workouts back to back (i.e.: Max Interval + Insane Abs in the same session) they should count as 1 workout.
2. If you do 2 workouts independently (i.e.: Yoga in the morning + swimming in the evening) they should count as 2 workouts because you made extra time in your day to exercise twice
No matter what we decide, we need a uniform system and agreement in order for the workouts to be fairly counted. What say all of you?

Hello Everyone,

I did my first core synergystics work today. It's a tough work out for me- particularly the plank chatarunga running! I stuck with it even though my arms were collapsing & felt that I had gotten a good work out in the end. I really liked the reaching push ups & there was some plyo stuff at the end in the 'bonus round' :-).

One week down for P90X with all exercises completed. Last night was the first night with chin up bar (received and installed last week - ebay special with bands!). I am pretty sure I was doing it right because half way through the second pass I lost fine motor control and was having trouble writing my reps/weights. Working out with a partner is much easier (miss Adar as she is traveling) but I survived alone last night with ONLY five pause stops on Ab Ripper X - still kills me. First time with 40 Mason Twists. A bit sore today and looking forward to / dreading Yoga X tonight.

Today was my first P90x work out. It was tough, but I bet other days will be even tougher! I 'survived' the Ab Cruncher X for the most part, but definitely need to work on some of those moves! I can still raise my arms above my head, so I consider that a good sign at this point :-)

When last you heard from us, we were cruising Chiang Mai on Easter Sunday looking for a Christian Church and a few Buddhist temples. We asked our driver to find us a temple so that Marja and I could say a little Easter prayer. He took us to a building with about 150 people inside (no westerners). It was clearly a place of worship. The crucifix was mounted at one end of the space above a makeshift alter. A priest was working the crowd on the way to the altar. I wanted to go in and when I pried the glass doors open, nearly all the eyes looked back towards us. I guess we were late.
